The dramatic skylines and mystical fog of Northern California are endlessly inspiring to me. Like treasures collected on a hike, The Space Between is filled with views, colors and textures I take with me after each outdoor adventure. 

The Space Between is an original mixed media painting on a birch wooden panel, 1.5 inches deep. This is the first in a series of three nature abstractions, exploring the wondrous spaces in our inner and outer landscapes where there are not always clear pathways leading the way nor previews of what lies ahead. The Space Between is 24 x 18 inches, the sides of the painting are painted dark gray with speckles of white, and it is ready to hang.
