I love collage and I love painting, and I'm not sure what took me so long to do both on canvas - what a joy! The collection of collage papers, textures and different marks remind me of the different bits a bird would collect to build her nest, and this mama bird has built her home right at the center of it all! Nest is an original mixed media painting on a canvas that is .5 inches deep. Measuring 16 x 20 inches, the sides of the painting match the gray of the painting, and Nest is ready to hang.
